Welcome!

My name is Ryan and I am a budding designer based in Chicago, Illinois.

Since I was a child, my father has taught me to care for my own things. He taught me to never waste, and to aim to fix what can be fixed. He taught me that fixing things means understanding how they operate, and that sometimes the best way to get there  is to take them apart. Because of this, I started disassembling things as soon as I learned how to hold a screwdriver, and I have been doing it since. When I got to working age, I went to my family’s wholesale fruits and vegetables company to help out. I have many more fond memories of helping my dad around the warehouse, fixing equipment or fabricating solutions to whatever problems we had. In many ways, my design journey started there.
